Storyline: Isolated and alone, a young immigrant woman burdened by financial hardship resorts to prostitution in an effort to survive. She hides the reality from her parents who reside overseas.

Shayda is an Iranian-Azerbaijani filmmaker. She grew up in Mianeh city and spent 24 years of her life in Iran. She studied science and her first degree was in Microbiology. Since childhood, she was a film enthusiast. In 2009, she left Iran to Malaysia to pursue a second degree in filmmaking. Currently, she resides in Australia where she has completed her Master’s Degree in Screen Production at Griffith University.
