A retired war veteran is ever haunted by his past experiences as a soldier during wartime; primarily centering on a traumatic event that occurred within invaded civilian territory. Tortured by the chaotic, disturbing images of his memories, he tries to seek solace by recalling them through drawings. The film also focuses on the possible psychological after-effects of war on children; how much can this sequence of tragedies affect their nature and mindset, and what are the consequences to this changes.
Bilal Al Badry is a director, producer and writer. He was Born on October 4th, 1988. He graduated with a degree in film and animation from The Multimedia University in Malaysia. He directed and produced several narrative short films. He’s most known for Core of War (2017).
